Regulatory Framework
Every institution affiliated with the Portal operates within a defined regulatory framework covering academic delivery, infrastructure adequacy, faculty qualification, and student welfare. This framework is intended to ensure that institutions offering recognized qualifications continue to meet consistent standards regardless of size, location, or ownership structure.
Institutions are expected to remain familiar with the current version of these regulations and to apply them consistently across all programs and campuses covered by their affiliation.
Compliance Obligations
Affiliated institutions carry ongoing obligations that extend beyond the initial grant of affiliation. Compliance is reviewed periodically and may also be assessed in response to complaints or reported irregularities.
- Institutions must maintain prescribed infrastructure and safety standards
- Institutions must employ qualified faculty in the ratios specified for each program
- Institutions must submit periodic compliance and enrollment reports
- Institutions must display fee structures and admission criteria publicly
- Institutions must cooperate with scheduled and surprise inspections
Amendment Process
Regulations are reviewed from time to time to reflect evolving academic practice and stakeholder feedback. Proposed amendments are typically circulated for comment before adoption, and affiliated institutions are notified of changes with adequate lead time to adjust internal processes.
- Draft amendments are published for institutional feedback
- Comments are reviewed by the relevant regulatory committee
- Approved amendments are notified with an effective date
- Institutions are given a defined transition period for compliance
Code of Conduct
Institutions, their governing bodies, and their staff are expected to conduct themselves with integrity in all dealings with students, staff, and the Portal. Misrepresentation of facilities, fabrication of records, or circumvention of prescribed procedures is treated as a serious compliance concern.
- Accurate representation of courses, faculty, and facilities in all publicity material
- Fair and transparent admission and fee collection practices
- Prompt reporting of material changes affecting affiliation status
- Respectful and non-discriminatory treatment of students and staff
