Affiliation is granted only after an institution demonstrates that it meets prescribed standards relating to infrastructure, faculty strength, curriculum design, and student support services.
The program is designed to safeguard academic quality while giving institutions a clear, predictable pathway from initial application through to long-term recognition. Every affiliated institution is expected to maintain the standards on which its affiliation was granted for as long as that affiliation remains in force.
Categories of Affiliation
Depending on an institution's stage of development and its track record of compliance, affiliation may be granted under one of the following categories.
- Permanent affiliation for institutions with a sustained record of compliance and stable infrastructure
- Provisional affiliation for newly established institutions pending a full review cycle
- Conditional affiliation for institutions required to address specific improvement measures

Institutions seeking to introduce new academic programs, expand existing intake capacity, or convert an existing provisional status into a permanent one are encouraged to apply. Applicant institutions should have secured the necessary approvals from relevant state and local authorities before submitting an affiliation application.
